Microbiologist Technician III (Biotech)

Location: York, United States; onsite sterile manufacturing role supporting a Friday–Sunday shift schedule with 12-hour shifts. U.S. work authorization is required.

What you will do

• Execute microbiological testing and environmental monitoring for products, utilities, surfaces, air, and personnel.
• Perform disinfectant efficacy testing and related microbiological assays in accordance with SOPs and compendial standards.
• Prepare media, sampling kits, and test solutions while supporting sterilization practices.
• Operate biological safety cabinets and laboratory instruments using aseptic techniques in classified cleanrooms.
• Document results in validated systems including ACE and LIMS, maintaining data integrity and supporting inventory and reagent tracking.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Facilities while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing, preferably in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, or another regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and regulations, including cGMP, ISO standards, and FDA/EU requirements.
• Experience executing Disinfectant Efficacy Testing.
• Proficiency in document control, change control, and electronic quality management systems.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and independent working skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; C2C arrangements are not available.
