Senior Data Warehouse Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and monitor scalable ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, and dbt.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and ensure reliable data delivery.
• Partner with data analysts to translate business needs into documented, efficient data models.
• Manage and optimize the hirify.global Analytics Platform through query performance monitoring, data partitioning, and model refinement.
• Support evolving analytics and reporting requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience building production data pipelines as a Data Engineer, Data Warehouse Engineer, or in a similar role.
• At least 5 years of production-grade experience with Python and SQL.
• At least 2 years of hands-on Databricks experience, including Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake, and Workflows.
• Hands-on experience with ELT/ETL pipelines, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and query or pipeline performance tuning.
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Copilot in day-to-day engineering work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks Genie or Snowflake Cortex.
• Experience in the healthcare industry.
