Software Engineering Intern (Python/JavaScript)

What you will do

• Analyze and implement software requirements.
• Format, validate, and upload data and perform database schema changes.
• Automate manual tasks through script development.
• Modify software code to resolve defects and improve reliability.
• Debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and communicate with users to understand their needs.
• Develop unit tests and assist with code reviews, testing, and test automation.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline, a high-quality bootcamp education, or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Knowledge of SQL and MySQL administration.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to acquire new skills, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Completion of HIPAA/PHI privacy, policy compliance, and security training within the first 30 days is required.

Nice to have

• Google Sheets formulas and Apps Script experience.
