What you will do
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable content and translation platforms using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Build and integrate LLM- and AI-powered translation capabilities into enterprise content-processing workflows.
- Develop event-driven, high-volume processing pipelines using Apache Kafka or similar technologies.
- Integrate translation services with enterprise platforms, third-party providers, APIs, and downstream systems.
- Implement monitoring, logging, error handling, retries, automated testing, and operational capabilities for reliable production systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and client stakeholders on technical solutions, deployments, incident resolution, documentation, and architecture evolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.
- Experience designing REST APIs and microservices, integrating enterprise platforms and third-party services.
- Hands-on cloud application development experience, preferably with Google Cloud Platform.
- Practical experience with Apache Kafka or similar event-driven messaging technologies.
- Experience with LLM/AI applications, machine translation, multilingual content processing, NLP, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile methodologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with content-management, publishing, media, or digital content platforms.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud services, AI and machine-translation providers, and LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Experience with translation quality evaluation, language detection, localization workflows, observability, Docker, and distributed systems.
- Experience with media or publishing workflows, content pipelines, editorial systems, or international content distribution.
