Internal Auditor (Healthcare)

Location: Must live within commuting distance of a hirify.global office in Louisville, KY; Washington, DC; Chicago, IL; Tampa, FL; or Dallas, TX. Occasional in-office attendance is required.

Salary: $65,000–$88,600 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Perform internal audit projects and consulting engagements using established methodologies and timelines.
• Prepare audit workpapers according to Institute of Internal Auditors and departmental standards.
• Participate in audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases.
• Identify audit issues and root causes, recommend process improvements, and follow corrective action plans.
• Communicate audit and consulting results through written reports and presentations to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• At least two years of audit experience.
• Experience documenting process walkthroughs and identifying controls.
• Experience leading meetings.
• Must live within commuting distance of one of the listed hirify.global offices and attend the office occasionally.

Nice to have

• CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CFE, or PMP certification.
• Advanced degree.
• Data analytics or business intelligence experience.
