TL;DR
Talent Acquisition Data Engineering & Analytics Graduate Intern (Snowflake/Power BI): Building automated Talent Acquisition data pipelines, dimensional models, and leadership-facing dashboards with an accent on SQL transformations, DAX measures, data quality, and reporting automation. Focus on configuring Snowflake and Power BI refreshes, implementing historical recruiting analytics, securing semantic models, and translating business questions into measurable metrics.
Location: Remote eligible in the United States, with a strong preference for candidates in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones; hybrid work is available for candidates local to a worksite. Rancho Cordova, California is the listed location.
Compensation: up to USD 50 per hour.

What you will do
- Establish and validate connections between Talent Acquisition systems and Snowflake in partnership with Data Engineering and IT.
- Configure Power BI connectivity, automated refresh, monitoring, and data quality checks.
- Build Snowflake dimensional models and optimize SQL transformations for requisition, funnel, and hiring activity analytics.
- Develop Power BI dashboards covering recruiting funnels, time-to-fill, offers, sourcing, recruiter workload, and operational SLAs.
- Create governed semantic models with certified DAX measures, row-level security, and performance optimization.
- Document the architecture and data lineage, create user guides, deliver enablement sessions, and present insights to TA leadership.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and query optimization.
- Hands-on Power BI experience with DAX measures and data modeling.
- Experience with Python or R for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Working knowledge of dimensional data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and data pipelines.
- Comfort working with confidential candidate and employee data and following data privacy and handling standards.
Nice to have
- Experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
- Experience with automated refresh, scheduled jobs, or orchestration tools such as dbt, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory.
- Power BI Service administration experience, including workspaces, gateways, deployment pipelines, or row-level security.
- Experience with APIs, cloud datasets, Git, analytics engineering, or system integrations.
- Familiarity with AI/ML techniques and workforce analytics.
