Human Resources Business Partner (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Richmond/Vancouver, Canada

Salary: CA$78,000–CA$88,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with management and employees to implement HR programs, policies, and initiatives.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for product engineering and CNC manufacturing operations.
• Manage the student Co-Op program and coordinate university partnerships and events.
• Provide guidance on performance management, career development, disciplinary actions, and employee relations.
• Investigate complex workplace issues and support grievance, arbitration, and other legal processes.
• Administer collective agreements and maintain constructive relationships with unions and shop stewards.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in a multidisciplinary HR or related role.
• Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting leaders in a fast-paced work environment.
• Experience with HR systems; UKG is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work on-site in Richmond/Vancouver, Canada.

Nice to have

• CPHR designation.
• Labour relations experience.
• Experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications including Teams, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
