Location: Montreal, QC, Canada; hybrid work with 1 day per week in the office

What you will do
- Partner with US and Canada business leaders on workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, talent, and organizational effectiveness.
- Manage moderate-to-complex employee relations cases end-to-end while balancing employment compliance, business priorities, and employee experience.
- Deliver and locally adapt enterprise HR programs, including performance cycles, career development, and workforce planning processes.
- Interpret workforce data, people metrics, and HRIS reporting to identify trends and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Support organizational design, post-merger workforce integration, compensation analysis, pay recommendations, offer construction, and pay equity considerations.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in HR business partnering and the ability to advise leaders and managers at different levels.
- Working knowledge of US and Canadian employment legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, career development, and talent processes.
- Ability to independently manage moderate-to-complex employee relations matters and escalate significant cross-jurisdictional or organizational risks.
- Experience using workforce metrics, organizational data, and HRIS-derived reporting to support decisions.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align people initiatives with organizational goals.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of employment fundamentals in the UK, EMEA, APAC, or other jurisdictions.
- Experience supporting HR matters outside the US and Canada as an organization grows globally.
