Director of People & Culture

Location: Hybrid role based in Courtice, Ontario, Canada, with on-site responsibilities and travel to multiple locations throughout Ontario.

Salary: CAD 60.1 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, growth objectives, and operational priorities.
• Advise executive leadership on workforce, organizational, and business matters.
• Lead talent acquisition, retention, succession planning, leadership development, and employee development initiatives.
• Oversee performance management, employee relations, workplace investigations, compensation, benefits, recognition, and total rewards.
• Lead organizational change, restructuring, workforce planning, culture transformation, and HR team development.
• Manage HR analytics, department budgeting, health and safety programs, and HR digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or degree from a recognized Canadian institute in Human Services or a related field.
• CHRP or CHRL certification.
• Minimum four years of direct Human Resources experience with demonstrated leadership progression.
• Experience leading multiple HR functions in a complex, multi-site, or growing organization.
• Experience with strategic HR initiatives, organizational change, workforce planning, culture transformation, and senior leadership advisory.
• Knowledge of Canadian labour markets, employment and health and safety legislation, compensation programs, performance management, HRIS, workforce analytics, and DEIB practices.
