Graduate Intern- Commercial Title Underwriting (Summer 2027) (Real Estate Law)

What you will do

• Conduct legal research supporting commercial underwriting decisions.
• Analyze real estate law issues involving title, liens, foreclosures, and authority matters.
• Review title insurance policy forms, endorsements, and underwriting standards.
• Participate in underwriting file discussions, risk analysis sessions, and approval workflows.
• Shadow underwriters on active commercial real estate transactions.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited law school as a rising 2L or 3L student.
• Strong legal research, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail, sound judgment, initiative, adaptability, and professional maturity.
• Commitment to ethics, integrity, collaboration, and customer-focused service.
• Interest in real estate law, mortgage, financial services, title insurance, or related industries.
