Risk Product Accounting Intern (Insurance)

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid during the school year and full-time onsite during summer 2027.

Compensation: $16.50–$30.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support accounting for insurance and annuity products and related field compensation.
• Prepare or approve journal entries and account and system balancing reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting findings with systems, client services, and field services contacts.
• Prepare quarterly regulatory state reporting schedules and analysis.
• Collaborate on process improvement projects and external audit requests.

Requirements

• Pursue a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Have previous work or classroom experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Employer immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
