What you will do

• Develop security features for embedded and connected devices, including secure boot, key management, encryption, device identity, and data protection.
• Build and maintain secure software components in C, C++, Java, or related systems languages across embedded, AOSP, Linux, and Windows environments.
• Integrate security capabilities with CoreOS, firmware, hardware, design, and cloud engineering teams.
• Contribute to TrustZone, TEE, kernel-level, hardware-backed security, biometric, and secure communication solutions.
• Perform threat modeling, security reviews, vulnerability analysis, testing, remediation, and software troubleshooting.
• Apply secure software development lifecycle practices to improve product security and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience involving embedded systems, operating systems, firmware, or security-related development.
• Programming experience with C, C++, Java, or a similar systems programming language.
• Foundational knowledge of secure boot, cryptography, authentication, access control, PKI, or application sandboxing.
• Experience developing or debugging software in embedded, Linux, AOSP, Windows, or similar environments.
• Understanding of debugging, testing, code reviews, source control, software development lifecycle practices, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded systems, consumer electronics, IoT, operating systems, firmware, or device security.
• Familiarity with TrustZone, TEE, Android Verified Boot, Keystore, SELinux, hardware-backed security, TPMs, secure elements, or trusted execution environments.
• Experience with security testing, vulnerability analysis, threat modeling, or secure coding practices.
• Knowledge of privacy and security standards such as GDPR, CCPA, or ISO.
