Solution Architect (Fintech)

Salary: EUR 5,500–7,500 gross per month

What you will do

• Design target microservices architectures for banking and payment solutions.
• Define service boundaries, component responsibilities, API contracts, and integration interfaces.
• Design REST, gRPC, Kafka, synchronous, and asynchronous communication between internal and external banking systems.
• Design scalable, highly available, and high-load solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Define security, error handling, retry, failure recovery, and resilience strategies.
• Document architectural decisions using C4, UML, sequence, and component diagrams, and advise development teams on implementation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing microservices architectures.
• Experience with distributed systems, large numbers of interacting services, high availability, and high-load environments.
• Experience designing REST and/or gRPC APIs, integration solutions, and event-driven asynchronous communication.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or other message brokers, Docker, and Kubernetes from an architectural perspective.
• Understanding of distributed systems security, including OAuth, TLS, authentication, authorization, and access control.
• English at Intermediate level or above.

Nice to have

• Experience designing banking, payment, or other systems with strict reliability and data consistency requirements.
• Experience analyzing existing architectures, assessing technical risks, and proposing evolution paths.
