Senior Revenue Accountant (SaaS)

Location: London, UK; hybrid schedule with office attendance twice a week

What you will do

• Own revenue recognition under IFRS 15 across complex SaaS contracts, add-ons, and high-volume transaction data.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual close adjustments, reconciliations, financial statements, and revenue disclosures.
• Develop SQL queries using data from systems such as Salesforce and Databricks to support revenue closing and reporting.
• Automate reconciliations between source systems and the general ledger, investigate discrepancies, and improve revenue workflows.
• Coordinate with Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Legal, Product, finance stakeholders, and internal and external auditors.
• Implement and maintain revenue recognition systems, policies, procedures, controls, and documentation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in revenue management or technical accounting.
• Hands-on IFRS 15 experience is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus a qualified accountant certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Experience working with large transaction datasets, writing or reviewing SQL, and validating data structures and outputs.
• Fluent English required, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, and integrity in financial reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience at KPMG, Deloitte, EY, PwC, or an equivalent international accounting firm.
• Audit experience in SaaS or high-volume data environments.
• Experience with Workday or Chargebee.
• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Additional language skills.
