Machine Learning Engineer II (Azure)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Full-time role with 0%–25% travel. Applicants must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $152,000–$178,300 annual base pay, plus a 15% annual incentive reference value.

What you will do

• Design and evolve Azure data platform and segmentation architectures using ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and activation capabilities.
• Build scalable data preparation, feature engineering, training, inference, and model monitoring pipelines.
• Develop predictive, recommendation, classification, clustering, forecasting, deep learning, computer vision, embeddings, vector search, and RAG solutions as appropriate.
• Expose model predictions through APIs and services for web, mobile, CRM, Salesforce, and other enterprise applications.
• Implement data quality, lineage, observability, testing, versioning, deployment, retraining, rollback, and model lifecycle practices.
• Partner with product, engineering, architecture, security, privacy, legal, and commercial stakeholders to deliver governed and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data platform, analytics engineering, backend engineering, or machine learning engineering.
• Strong Python, SQL, data engineering, statistical modeling, feature engineering, and large-dataset preparation skills.
• Production experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or XGBoost.
• Experience with MLOps, experiment tracking, model versioning, CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, APIs, and production debugging.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
