Machine Learning Engineer, Level 3 (AI)

Location: Onsite in Bellevue, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, or San Francisco; office attendance is expected 4+ days per week under hirify.global's “default together” policy.

Base salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually in Zone C, $112,000–$167,000 annually in Zone B, or $118,000–$176,000 annually in Zone A, plus potential RSU equity.

What you will do

• Build and deploy machine learning models for core hirify.globalchat products.
• Apply established machine learning techniques to real-world product problems.
• Perform data analysis, model training, evaluation, and production deployment across the ML lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement and launch ML-driven features.
• Use AI tools and high-velocity engineering workflows to design scalable services with strong standards for correctness, security, and production readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of post-bachelor's machine learning experience, or a relevant master's degree.
• Experience developing models for ranking, recommendations, search, content understanding, image generation, or similar applications.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning approaches and algorithms.
• Ability to solve ambiguous problems, prioritize work independently, and collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Strong collaboration and mentorship skills, with adaptability in learning evolving AI systems and tools.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience with TensorFlow, Caffe2, PyTorch, Spark ML, scikit-learn, or related frameworks.
• Experience with machine learning and ranking infrastructures and system design.
