Legal Counsel - Financial Services (Fintech)

Financial services organisation operating across legal, licensing, regulatory, and corporate governance matters.

What you will do

• Oversee legal matters across the organisation and ensure alignment with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and conduct legal research across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage end-to-end licensing processes, including applications, renewals, and ongoing requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, local filings, and corporate governance documentation.
• Maintain a centralised database of contracts, licensing documents, and external correspondence.
• Identify legal issues, assess solutions, support CIF-related legal frameworks, and mentor junior legal staff.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm and the legal department of an FX company.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
• Interest in financial markets and legal frameworks applicable to CIFs.
• Strong legal research, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, trustworthiness, and a proactive work ethic.
• Willingness to learn quickly and develop within a competitive financial services environment.
