Legal Counsel (AI)

Location: Cyprus, with an equipped office in Limassol city center

What you will do

• Own and develop legal operations for a fast-growing technology platform.
• Prepare Data Protection Impact Assessments, regulatory risk assessments, transparency reports, and incident response procedures.
• Oversee verification, content moderation, trust and safety protocols, and investigations involving AI-generated images, voice, video, deepfakes, and personality rights.
• Draft and negotiate agreements with AI providers, cloud infrastructure vendors, payment processors, acquiring banks, and card schemes.
• Communicate with data protection authorities, digital services regulators, consumer protection bodies, and law enforcement agencies.
• Establish scalable legal processes, policies, and governance frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of overall legal experience, including at least 2 years in a directly relevant role.
• Experience in AI, social platforms, dating services, entertainment, gaming, creator platforms, or other regulated consumer technology services.
• Hands-on experience with data protection, platform safety and moderation, deepfake and AI regulation, payment processor or bank negotiations, and regulatory communications.
• Professional English is required; Greek is an advantage.
