Social Media Specialist & Content Creator (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; Eastern Timezone preferred.

Salary: $28–$32 per hour.

What you will do

• Create social-first content and appear regularly on camera in short-form videos, Stories, and other organic formats.
• Concept, film, edit, and publish videos, static posts, and carousels across relevant platforms.
• Develop content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other channels using briefs, trends, cultural moments, and audience insights.
• Manage the content calendar, scheduling, publishing, quality assurance, asset coordination, and performance reporting.
• Monitor trends, test hooks and creative formats, and use performance insights to improve future content.
• Engage with communities and collaborate with social, brand, design, product marketing, and paid media teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 1–3 years of experience in social media and content creation, including internships, freelance work, or personal channel experience.
• Confident on-camera presence is required, with a willingness to become a regular presence across hirify.global’s social channels.
• Experience using AI-powered tools for content ideation, writing, editing, production, or data collection, with responsible creative judgment.
• Strong understanding of social platforms, trends, content mechanics, communication, and collaboration.
• Portfolio or examples of on-camera or social-first content, plus a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience filming and editing short-form video with CapCut, Edits, Canva, or similar tools.
• Ability to write engaging hooks, captions, and scripts.
