AML Analyst (CDD)

Location: Riga, Latvia; hybrid flexibility with office collaboration, work-from-home options, and up to three months per year working from another country.

Salary: €2,300–€2,700 per month

What you will do

• Conduct Customer Due Diligence reviews for new, existing, and potential legal entity customers.
• Research and investigate cases of varying complexity and make evidence-based decisions.
• Perform PEP, sanctions, adverse media, high-risk country, and prohibited country screening.
• Analyse source of funds, source of wealth, and proof of residence documentation.
• Advise internal stakeholders on AML/CTF laws and regulations.
• Support the creation and implementation of AML processes and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in AML.
• Hands-on experience conducting due diligence reviews for legal entities across Europe and other jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of PEP, sanctions, and adverse media screening.
• Ability to perform complex analysis and present findings in a structured way.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across business functions.

Nice to have

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Additional European language skills.
• Experience with Latvian AML regulations.
• Experience working with legal entities from European Union countries.
