TL;DR
Service Operations Specialist (Cybersecurity): Leading the stability, maintenance, and support of obligations platforms and mobile network capabilities with an accent on incident management, legislative compliance, and HMG security requirements. Focus on resolving complex incidents, managing changes, developing operational procedures, and driving service improvements across technical support teams.
Location: Bristol, UK; hybrid with 3 days office-based and 2 days remote. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. SC Security Clearance is required, and candidates must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years to obtain clearance.

What you will do
- Lead programmes that keep obligations platforms stable and able to provide data required under legal obligations.
- Maintain mobile network and platform capabilities to support legislative compliance and HMG security requirements.
- Lead incident resolution within agreed timescales and manage, implement, and communicate changes.
- Develop operational processes and procedures using industry, application, and technical knowledge.
- Lead service improvement initiatives and ensure agreed practices are maintained.
- Provide technical leadership, manage escalations, and support the development of a local technical support team.
Requirements
- Experience with decision-making, ITIL 4, change management, continuous improvement, and incident management.
- Experience in incident, problem, and change management, including taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Knowledge of the EE mobile core network, including voice, data, and SMS services.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- SC Security Clearance and at least 5 years of UK residence to obtain clearance.
Nice to have
- Expertise in mobile products, services, platforms, and underlying network architecture.
- Knowledge of end-to-end obligations system design, standards, and related security requirements.
- Understanding of business strategy, organisational performance, KPIs, business cases, and financial literacy.
- Availability to provide on-call cover when required.
