Head of Consulting (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; travel expected up to approximately 25% based on client preference for in-person versus remote engagement.

What you will do

• Develop and communicate a market point of view on AI and digital engineering consulting through client conversations, industry events, content, and internal communication.
• Join client engagements early, clarify ambiguous problems, shape solutions, and contribute creative input to proposals and pre-sales activities.
• Personally lead complex or high-stakes opportunities while teaching consultants how to scope, solve, and close deals.
• Partner closely with the Solutions Consulting function to connect the two teams across separate reporting lines.
• Coach a consulting team of approximately 30 people, contribute to hiring decisions, and build a management layer as the practice grows.
• Improve AI-related and outcome-priced revenue, deal quality, win rates, delivery speed, margin discipline, and practice health.

Requirements

• Current, credible expertise and a clear point of view on AI and digital engineering trends.
• Executive presence and the ability to build trust with stakeholders from mid-market leadership through Fortune 50 executives.
• Experience shaping consulting deals, solving ambiguous client problems, and contributing to pre-sales rather than only delivering defined scopes.
• Interest in teaching and developing others through hands-on participation in live opportunities.
• Operational fluency in hiring, team structure, and practice management.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; C2C is not available.

• Experience with AI or a proven ability to rapidly learn, adopt, and mentor others on emerging technologies.
• Experience building market visibility through client content, public speaking, or industry events.
