What you will do

• Review existing MMIC phase-shifter designs and relevant microwave technology literature.
• Evaluate different phase-shifter design concepts for GaN HEMT technology.
• Select the most promising design approach for the thesis project.
• Design a phase shifter for X-band and/or Ku-band applications.
• Prepare a final technical report and presentation.

Requirements

• Be one or two master’s students in engineering.
• Have an interest in microwave technology, particularly MMIC design.
• Be prepared to undergo security vetting under applicable security-protection regulations.
• Additional citizenship-related obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance.
