Director of Product Management, Marketplace Supply

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work from the Barcelona office in Poblenou two days per week on Mondays and Thursdays. Candidates must be based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.

Salary: €122,228–€148,155 first-year salary, plus a long-term incentive plan and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the multi-year product vision, strategy, roadmap, and OKRs for hirify.global’s provider product group.
• Lead four product teams focused on improving provider experiences and marketplace interactions across the provider journey.
• Drive marketplace monetization through pricing, fees, and take-rate models with measurable P&L impact.
• Use customer research, marketplace data, and rigorous experimentation to validate launches and improve provider retention, revenue, and booking growth.
• Embed AI into product features such as assisted tooling, intelligent messaging, personalization, and education.
• Align Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Trust & Safety teams across Europe and the U.S.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including meaningful experience with marketplaces, platforms, or two-sided businesses.
• 5+ years of people management or leadership experience, including managing senior product managers or cross-functional groups.
• Experience with marketplace monetization, pricing experimentation, retention, engagement, and loyalty strategies for professional users.
• Experience partnering with Data Science and Engineering teams on shared roadmaps, metrics, A/B testing, holdouts, and long-horizon measurement.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, coaching, and decision-making skills in ambiguous environments.
• English: minimum C2 level required. Comfortable working across Central European and U.S. Pacific time zones; bachelor’s degree required.

Nice to have

• Experience with supply-side marketplaces in gig economy, services, accommodation, mobility, creator, or similar platforms.
• Experience with marketplace integrity, disintermediation, off-platform leakage, and incentive design.
• Experience building tooling or business-management software for independent entrepreneurs.
• Experience leading 0-to-1 products and scaling existing product lines, including presenting to C-level and board audiences.
• Master’s degree.
