Senior Cyber Security Analyst (AdTech)

Cybersecurity solutions provider delivering bot defense and anti-malvertising technologies for the AdTech industry.

What you will do

• Monitor and investigate potential security threats using Kibana/OpenSearch, Snowflake, and similar platforms.
• Analyze high-volume traffic, security logs, suspicious activity, attack patterns, IPs, domains, and other indicators.
• Determine whether activity is malicious or benign and develop, tune, and deploy detection rules.
• Support customer onboarding by analyzing web application traffic and configuring baseline protection rules.
• Investigate customer-reported incidents and missed detections, implementing mitigations to improve protection coverage.
• Document threats and findings and communicate technical details to Engineering and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, threat research, or threat intelligence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
• Expert-level SQL, security monitoring, threat hunting, and security operations skills.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS, authentication, cookies, and browser-server interactions.
• Experience with web security research, bot management, fraud detection, threat investigations, IOC analysis, and log analysis platforms.
• Strong English communication skills and eligibility to work from Europe or Latin America.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, malware analysis, vulnerabilities, and adversary TTPs.
• OSINT and cyber threat intelligence research experience.
• Python and Jupyter Notebook experience for investigations and automation.
• Experience with GitHub and version control workflows.
