Middle/Senior UX Designer

Location: Poland, Croatia, or Germany; approximately 10 required on-site meetings in Magdeburg and availability during CET/CEST core business hours

What you will do

• Analyze and optimize user journeys for internal and external audiences across web applications.
• Develop information architecture, navigation, user guidance, wireframes, user flows, clickable prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
• Plan and conduct user research, interviews, stakeholder workshops, and usability testing.
• Build and maintain design systems, including design tokens, breakpoints, grids, templates, page types, modules, components, and interaction states.
• Design responsive, mobile-first, multilingual, and accessible interfaces for website and intranet platforms.
• Conduct design reviews, verify implementation quality, document decisions, and collaborate with analysts, developers, QA, content editors, and project managers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional UX/UI design experience.
• Strong expertise in design systems, complex digital platforms, user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and usability.
• C1-level German and excellent English.
• Practical expertise in Figma and FigJam, plus experience with Miro or comparable workshop tools.
• Experience working in agile, interdisciplinary teams and creating implementation-ready design specifications.
• Willingness to attend approximately 10 on-site meetings in Magdeburg.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, the public sector, education, or CMS platforms such as Drupal, TYPO3, Sitecore, or AEM.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and experience implementing WCAG 2.1 AA, BITV 2.0, and EN 301 549 requirements.
