Senior Murex Developer – Capital Markets & Regulatory IT (Fintech): Developing and maintaining critical Murex platform components for capital markets and regulatory IT with an accent on core module integration, financial data transformations, and automation. Focus on optimizing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, building Shell/Python scripts, integrating SOAP services, and improving test automation and development pipelines.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal — hybrid work model. Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered.

What you will do
- Implement evolutionary and corrective maintenance across core Murex modules.
- Integrate Datamart, MSL, and MXML Exchange for reporting, workflows, and data messaging.
- Write complex PL/SQL procedures, optimize Oracle SQL queries, and develop Shell and Python automation scripts.
- Develop XML, XSLT, and HTML transformations and integrate SOAP web services.
- Drive test automation, improve development pipelines, and manage source code with Git.
- Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies and support knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in Murex development or capital markets IT projects.
- Advanced proficiency with Murex Datamart, MSL, and MxML/Exchange modules.
- Strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Shell, and Python skills.
- Experience with XSLT, XML, HTML, and SOAP data transformations.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Fluent English and an existing legal right to work in the European Union are required.
Nice to have
- Certifications or additional expertise in risk or regulatory compliance.
- Experience with Agile frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
