Data Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Remote from Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, or Serbia; hybrid-first environment with core hours from 12:00–19:00 Manila time (UTC+8). Willingness to relocate to Manila, Philippines is a strong advantage.

Salmon is a technology-driven fintech company building a banking and lending platform across Southeast Asia, beginning in the Philippines.

What you will do

• Build and maintain the data layer connecting Collections, Risk, and data warehouse functions.
• Develop and support regular reports and dashboards for key Collections metrics.
• Build analytical data models and datasets for Collections operations and reporting.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis for Collections and related functions.
• Investigate data quality issues, identify root causes, and resolve discrepancies.
• Document calculation logic, data sources, datasets, and reports.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in data, product, risk, or operations analytics.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with large datasets.
• Experience building and maintaining data models and regular reporting.
• Understanding of data quality principles and ability to investigate discrepancies independently.
• Availability to work core hours from 12:00–19:00 Manila time (UTC+8).

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks or similar tools.
• Experience with dbt or similar data transformation frameworks.
• Experience building dashboards in Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Background in financial or lending data, especially Collections or Risk.
• Willingness to relocate to Manila.
