is recruiting for a well-established UK pensions provider delivering a major transformation programme.
What you will do
- Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of testing across the transformation programme.
- Oversee system integration, user acceptance, regression, end-to-end, performance, and operational readiness testing.
- Coordinate third-party testing suppliers and escalate risks, issues, and deviations.
- Maintain an audit-ready testing approach aligned with regulatory, security, and compliance requirements.
- Produce test plans, schedules, resource plans, quality gates, and stakeholder reports.
- Coordinate defect triage and guide the testing team, while improving automation, shift-left practices, and CI/CD integration.
Requirements
- Recent experience in pensions, financial services, insurance, banking, or another regulated industry.
- Proven experience as a Test Lead on complex transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of pensions administration systems and processes.
- Strong test planning, defect management, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or a similar tool, plus API, integration, mobile, data validation and reconciliation, and performance/load testing.
- Experience managing third-party testing suppliers, ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification, and availability at short notice.
