Team Manager - Engineering Functions (Controls, Electrical, and Digitalization)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid remote/office work with 2 home-office days per week and business travel of up to 20%.

Salary: Competitive salary based on professional background; annual gross cafeteria allowance of HUF 504,000, yearly bonus, and loyalty bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the Controls, Electrical, and Digitalization engineering team for Hungary.
• Bridge local operational needs with global strategy and act as the primary contact for HR-related matters.
• Manage approvals, legal responsibilities, contractual topics, and administrative operations.
• Mentor team members and support line managers in improving motivation, development, and engagement.
• Participate in recruitment and provide local support for operational issues.
• Promote effective communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement across stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience, including people management and local operations.
• Understanding of Hungarian labor law and HR practices.
• Solution-oriented approach with strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor and empower team members effectively.
• Proficiency in Hungarian and English; willingness to travel for business purposes up to 20%.
