What you will do

• Execute payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and payment submissions under supervision.
• Resolve routine tax notices and penalties using documented procedures, escalating non-standard cases.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance activities by reviewing records and verifying data.
• Prepare and submit tax forms and amendments according to federal, state, and local requirements.
• Respond to basic tax-related inquiries and collaborate on cross-functional tax processing workflows.
• Maintain filing, transaction, and correspondence records while identifying discrepancies through quality assurance processes.

Requirements

• 0–1 years of experience in payroll operations, payroll tax processing, accounting, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree, professional certification, or equivalent domain experience.
• Basic knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and government filing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems, spreadsheets, and financial software applications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, willingness to follow detailed instructions, and ability to learn new processes quickly.
