Senior Engineering Manager (React/TypeScript)

Location: 100% remote; must be based in the United States or Canada

Base salary: $250K–$270K, depending on experience and location, plus a pre-IPO equity package.

What you will do

• Lead a team of full-stack engineers building the guest web ordering experience across menus, carts, checkout, promotions, and photos.
• Build experimentation systems and run conversion programs targeting guest conversion toward 10%.
• Scale OLO for enterprise and multi-location restaurant brands with reliable handling of complex menus.
• Raise more than 90% of menus, including POS-integrated menus, to the required quality standard and keep them optimized.
• Improve photo coverage, rebuild promotions, reduce fulfillment selection errors, and complete the PostgreSQL migration.
• Make clear prioritization decisions, maintain team health, and partner with product, design, and adjacent engineering teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management experience leading teams of 6–10 or more engineers on customer-facing products.
• Experience running growth or conversion programs using metrics, A/B testing at scale, and funnel analysis.
• Experience scaling products for enterprise or multi-location customers.
• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to make difficult roadmap decisions.
• Technical credibility in full-stack web development and data-heavy systems, including React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience supporting team health through heavy or repetitive workloads and collaborating effectively with product management and design.
