Digital Production Manager (WordPress)

Location: Fully remote; applicants must be based in the United States or Canada.

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year, with possible bonus or commission.

What you will do

• Build and maintain story pages using print and digital editorial sources.
• Source, crop, format, and caption photos; add alt text and occasionally commission artwork and photography.
• Coordinate bug triage between editorial and product/engineering teams for production-site issues.
• Test WordPress features and fixes, document reproduction steps, and communicate new standards across editorial verticals.
• Maintain production resources, prioritize work, and improve editorial workflows.
• Own on-page SEO/GEO practices and apply UX best practices to digital experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital production experience in high-volume print and digital media.
• Expert proficiency in WordPress, Canva, Asana, and Google Workspace.
• Strong written, verbal, and video communication skills.
• Deep UX understanding and the ability to translate best practices into on-page experiences.
• Strong SEO/GEO judgment, including awareness of AI overviews and answer-engine results.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Editorial, Video, Product, Engineering, and Audience Development teams.
