Staff Product Manager, Real Time Analytics Platform (Streaming Analytics)

Location: Remote within the United States, with locations including New York, Massachusetts, California, Texas, Washington, Georgia, Minnesota, North Carolina, Arizona, and specific cities listed in the posting.

Salary: $159,000–$297,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own the vision, product strategy, and roadmap for a streaming analytics engine covering storage, materialization, query serving, performance, and developer experience.
• Define competitive positioning against real-time analytical databases and establish the product as a streaming-native alternative.
• Drive architectural and product tradeoffs involving consistency, latency, query performance, cost, and developer ergonomics.
• Partner with engineering, design, senior leadership, customers, and design partners to develop and launch a cloud-native data system.
• Coordinate with product teams working on AI, context delivery, application integration, Kafka, Flink, and Confluent Cloud.
• Define success metrics, cost models, pricing strategy, and executive-level platform strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in product management or related technical roles.
• 5+ years of experience taking technical infrastructure or data products from conception to launch.
• Deep familiarity with real-time analytics, database internals, streaming data platforms, distributed systems, storage engines, query performance, and cost optimization.
• Experience defining and launching products in data infrastructure, analytics databases, or stream processing.
• Must be able to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Engineering experience with analytical databases, stream processing, or distributed storage systems.
• Experience with ClickHouse, Apache Druid, StarRocks, Apache Pinot, Kafka, or Flink.
• Experience building AI/ML workload products for retrieval, feature serving, or context delivery.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure, consumption-based pricing, or open-source data infrastructure.
