Research Manager (AI Healthcare)

Location: Washington, DC, United States. Work is primarily performed in an office, clinic, or lab setting.

Estimated annual pay range: $210,590–$230,000. Final offer depends on location, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Lead research projects supporting organizational objectives, operational improvements, client needs, and strategic decision-making.
• Manage project execution for AI adoption in healthcare, including research planning, technical evaluation, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Design research proposals, methodologies, sampling plans, geographic quotas, timelines, tools, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, field staff, vendors, clients, management, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze findings and translate data into executive reports, presentations, summaries, and actionable recommendations.
• Track project progress, manage risks, maintain research documentation, and improve research methods and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 15 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing field research, survey administration, interviews, focus groups, or observational studies.
• Knowledge of research ethics, quality assurance practices, data privacy standards, and confidentiality requirements.
• Experience preparing executive-level reports or client-facing presentations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property.
• Ability to work in an office, clinic, or lab environment and meet the stated physical and safety requirements.
