Substance Abuse Counselor

Location: Fully on-site in Mobile, Alabama, USA. Schedule: 5:00 AM–1:00 PM, Monday–Friday.

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour plus bonus structure.

What you will do

• Help patients identify and use their strengths to achieve social, educational, and occupational goals.
• Support patients as they prepare for and adjust to a drug-free life.
• Provide emotional and physical support while patients address recovery-related challenges.
• Follow schedules, program policies, treatment standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform counseling duties within the scope of applicable licenses or certifications.
• Report to the Counselor Supervisor or Program Director.

Requirements

• Ability to provide substance abuse counseling and patient support.
• Ability to work the assigned Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:00 PM schedule.
• Ability to work fully on-site at the Mobile, Alabama location.
• Work must be performed within the scope of applicable licensure or certification.
• Ability to follow treatment-program policies and regulatory requirements.
