TL;DR

Substance Abuse Counselor (Behavioral Health): Providing patient-centered counseling, developing treatment plans, and supporting patients throughout recovery with an accent on opioid addiction treatment and meaningful patient connections. Focus on conducting counseling sessions, managing clinical documentation, and delivering care during scheduled weekday and rotating Saturday shifts.

Location: On-site in Lexington, Kentucky, USA

Salary: $22–$24 per hour, plus a quarterly incentive program.

What you will do

Conduct counseling sessions for patients recovering from substance abuse.
Develop and support individualized treatment plans.
Build meaningful, patient-centered connections throughout the recovery journey.
Provide care and support focused on addiction recovery.
Manage clinical and patient documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human services or a related field.
Commitment to patient-centered care and recovery support.
Availability for an 8-hour shift scheduled between 5:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, plus rotating Saturdays from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Ability to work on-site in Lexington, Kentucky.
