Program Manager (Defense)

Location: On-site in Maine; the position header also lists Beavercreek, Ohio. Travel requirements are 0–35%, with core working hours from 0900 to 1500.

What you will do

• Lead onboarding, security processing, and team integration activities.
• Manage SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Jira, and Confluence environments.
• Support acquisition planning, documentation, and milestone decision processes.
• Track action items and taskers, and support oversight boards and program battle rhythms.
• Assess operations and program capabilities to identify mission gaps, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Analyze workflows and standard operating procedures, then implement process improvements and lean methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of acquisition or program management experience.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, written communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PMP certification.
• DoD acquisition experience and familiarity with acquisition documentation.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
• Process improvement and prior supervisory or team lead experience in a government or defense setting.
