Field Service Technician I (Medical Equipment)

Location: Downey, California, United States. Onsite field service role with a Wednesday–Sunday schedule from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM and potential on-call coverage up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays.

Estimated base salary: $48,000–$66,000 per year.

What you will do

• Move, inspect, load, unload, and maneuver medical products in service centers, healthcare facilities, and private homes.
• Clean, disinfect, troubleshoot, evaluate, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on hirify.global and non-hirify.global equipment.
• Provide customer account visits and on-call delivery, removal, and service support.
• Demonstrate product use to hospital staff, caregivers, and other participants.
• Use smartphones, tablets, and PCs to enter and retrieve service information.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and safely operate company vehicles up to a 26,000-pound truck.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain a DOT physical card.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds and follow ergonomic and safety procedures.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety shoes, eye protection, gloves, and protective clothing, and complete medical testing and compliance training.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
