MedTech Depot Field Service Technician (Medical Devices)

Location: Cincinnati, OH; must reside locally and be commutable to the location. Nationwide travel is included.

Salary: $27–$30 per hour

What you will do

• Receive decommissioned medical devices and organize service worksheets and customer paperwork.
• Transport instruments throughout the service department and clean and decontaminate equipment according to work instructions or manufacturer recommendations.
• Warehouse returned products for reconditioning, evaluation, and loaner requirements, and process obsolete products and waste materials.
• Process service records, prepare packages according to Bills of Material, and include required service, shipping, and quality documentation.
• Prioritize customer shipments, stock the shipping area, and maintain UPS equipment.
• Complete paid training for the role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, in designated areas.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, walk frequently, stoop, reach, grasp, and perform fine and gross motor tasks.
• Ability to lift and maneuver boxes or equipment weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Must be locally based and able to commute to Cincinnati, OH.
• Healthcare-facility credentialing and required immunizations are mandatory, including applicable MMR, varicella, TB, Tdap, hepatitis B, influenza, and COVID-19 requirements.

Nice to have

• 0–2 years of field service technician experience in a medical device environment.
• Dependability, reliability, and ability to follow direction.
• Excellent documentation skills.
