Warehouse Senior Supervisor CR (Regular Shift)

Location: On-site in Alajuela, Costa Rica, with regular time split between office planning and warehouse floor presence.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end material flow from external warehouse receipt through incoming quality inspection, internal storage, and delivery to Production.
• Plan and adjust material movement based on production schedules, warehouse capacity, inspection lead times, and shipment volumes.
• Coordinate with IQC, Purchasing, Production, Finance, Internal Audit, and Logistics to manage priorities, risks, inventory records, and export schedules.
• Identify bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
• Develop and track material-flow KPIs, including IQC time, transfer lead times, receiving discrepancies, and on-time delivery.
• Ensure adequate staffing across active shifts and coach and train warehouse team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of experience in materials planning, supply chain coordination, or warehouse operations, preferably in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating workflows with Quality Control, Purchasing, and Production teams.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and experience supporting internal or external audits.
• Strong written and verbal Spanish and English are required.

Nice to have

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification, or progress toward certification.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments, including 21 CFR Part 820 or ISO 13485.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 6S, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with import/export documentation, customs compliance, or Warehouse Management Systems.
