What you will do
- Design, develop, and deliver backend-focused software applications and features in Golang and React.
- Build and maintain distributed architecture that remains consistent while scaling.
- Partner with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to develop customer and internal solutions.
- Develop metrics and use them to drive continuous improvement of existing products.
- Deliver testable, high-quality features that follow reporting standards.
- Lead small development teams when needed and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience; the compensation description specifies 8+ years for this senior role.
- Experience building and serving REST APIs with Go, Java, Python, or a similar language.
- Experience with distributed, cloud-based architecture, transactional outboxes, or messaging tools such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
- Experience building consensus, bringing new ideas forward, and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Ability to work remotely from Argentina.
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL-based relational databases through an ORM.
- Experience with Prometheus, New Relic, Datadog, or similar observability platforms.
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with Kubernetes-based microservices on AWS.
- Experience delivering commercial APIs and web applications.
