Financial Derivatives Intern

hirify.global operates derivatives markets offering index and single-stock futures and options to banks, asset managers, brokers, investment firms, and other market participants.

What you will do

• Support market and product development for equity and fixed-income derivatives.
• Automate trading reports and client presentations with Power BI, including trading statistics and rankings.
• Support data scientists with quantitative research projects using Python and SQL.
• Apply AI to monitor competitor developments and market-share trends.
• Analyze options and futures markets, regulatory changes, economic indicators, and competitive intelligence to support strategic decisions.
• Contribute to product launches, marketing campaigns, client database maintenance, and potential Athex Exchange integration activities.

Requirements

• Final- or penultimate-year master's student specializing in finance or engineering.
• Good understanding of financial services, with strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent oral and written English required.
• Ability to communicate strategic recommendations and key decisions to senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, pragmatic, entrepreneurial approach and ability to deliver projects from inception to completion.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with multicultural stakeholders, clients, management, and cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in banking, financial services, or a large corporate environment.
• French language skills.
