Engineer, OEM Product Test (Medical Devices)

Location: On-site in Irvine, California, United States

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 annual salary; eligible for up to a 10% annual bonus.

What you will do

• Execute formal verification and validation testing for assigned OEM devices.
• Develop, maintain, and improve test documentation, protocols, and testing tools for new features and technologies.
• Support pre-V&V activities for incoming OEM devices, including schedule management and discrepancy identification.
• Work with OEM partners, business teams, and internal engineering groups to resolve issues and keep testing on schedule.
• Participate in technical discussions and improve testing and verification processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with engineers, OEM partners, and customers in a technical environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting technical information and test results.
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with medical device verification and validation processes.
• Experience working with OEM partners or supporting technology integration and deployment.
• Familiarity with physiological monitoring technologies and medical device testing.
