Sr Third Party Risk Manager

Location: Hybrid in Denver, Colorado, with three days in the office each week from Tuesday through Thursday. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 annually, plus potential eligibility for a discretionary 12.5% annual bonus.

What you will do

• Manage third-party risk for assigned business portfolios across planning, due diligence, contracting, transition, monitoring, and exit.
• Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, third-party providers, Aegon, and affiliated organizations.
• Coordinate control risk assessments, identify weaknesses, document remediation plans, and monitor actions through resolution.
• Develop risk management strategies, performance scorecards, exit strategies, and other program artifacts.
• Provide training and guidance on third-party risk requirements and act as a subject matter expert.
• Analyze portfolios, report emerging industry risks, and maintain risk management systems and databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience in third-party risk management, operational risk, or compliance.
• Strong understanding of process management and control environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in the Denver office three days per week is required.

Nice to have

• Certified Third Party Risk Professional, International Association of Outsourcing Professionals, Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager, or another recognized industry certification.
• Experience with Visio, MS Project, Tableau, or MS Access.
