Department Lead - Packaging (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; 12-hour night shift

What you will do

• Lead packaging operations and ensure batch records and documentation meet cGMP standards.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Facilities teams to meet FDA and company requirements.
• Oversee cleaning and sanitization of primary and secondary packaging rooms and equipment.
• Assign staff to production rooms, resolve packaging-related blockers, and maintain smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment, support automated machinery setup, and reconcile materials between packaging areas and the warehouse.
• Train operators and support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with SQDC goals.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, packaging, or a GMP-regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of cGMP requirements and documentation practices.
• Ability to lead others, troubleshoot equipment, and support cross-functional operations.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively on a 12-hour night shift schedule.
