Technical Application Specialist (ERP)

Location: Remote in the UK

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, document, and escalate technical, application, system, and finance-related customer issues.
• Resolve client-server application issues involving Microsoft SQL, web servers, payment terminals, network printers, and Android/iOS devices.
• Investigate ERP financial functionality, accounting processes, data flows, and integrations with finance packages.
• Configure systems and support product customization, extensions, and integrations using programming and integration tools.
• Maintain product knowledge, create knowledge-base documentation, and improve support processes.
• Support internal departments and contribute to mentoring and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Three or more years of technical support, application support, or related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting at least one finance or accounting package is required.
• Knowledge of software applications, ERP fundamentals, accounting processes, and system integrations.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and issue-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume support environment and collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sage, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics GP, hirify.global Kinetic, or a comparable finance application.
• ERP, SaaS, e-commerce, client-server application, SQL, or systems integration experience.
• Relevant industry knowledge or experience.
