Software Engineer II (.NET)

Location: Hybrid role based within approximately 70 miles of the Allen, Texas office; onsite interviews or in-person onboarding may be required.

Salary: $76,400–$98,000 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Participate in technical design, prototyping, software development, bug verification, and production delivery.
• Develop and maintain applications using Angular, C#/.NET, REST APIs, and SQL Server.
• Provide engineering support throughout the application lifecycle, from code delivery through retirement.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to support software reliability, security, and performance.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues and deliver timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams to deliver software aligned with customer and business needs.

Requirements

• At least two years of overall software development experience.
• Professional experience with Angular and C#/.NET development.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and working with SQL Server and database fundamentals.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming concepts, including async/await.
• Experience debugging application issues and applying secure coding and database practices, including SQL injection prevention.
• Must live within approximately 70 miles of the Allen, Texas office; immigration sponsorship and support are not available.

Nice to have

• Full-stack development experience across user interfaces, APIs, and databases.
• Experience with code reviews, modern development practices, source control, and collaborative workflows.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
