Finance Assistant

hirify.global is supporting a well-established business with a busy finance team.

What you will do

• Process high volumes of purchase invoices, including matching, coding, and checking.
• Prepare weekly payment runs and reconcile supplier statements.
• Resolve supplier queries and set up and maintain supplier accounts.
• Complete bank reconciliations and support sales ledger activities, including invoicing and cash allocation.
• Assist with finance reporting and ad hoc duties across the wider finance team.
• Follow company controls and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a transactional finance position.
• Knowledge of purchase ledger, sales ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Comfort working in a high-volume environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence using finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
