What you will do

• Work with consulting teams, BCG X product teams, and practice areas on advanced data engineering initiatives.
• Gather requirements, specify solutions, and design, develop, deliver, and support industrialized technology solutions.
• Build data models for analytics and decision-making.
• Select and integrate big data tools across on-premises and cloud architectures.
• Implement ETL processes and orchestrate data pipelines.
• Monitor performance and recommend infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

• Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience or knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, NoSQL databases, Spark or other distributed data systems, and pipeline orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with Unix-based development tools, cloud platforms, and Git.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or an equivalent field.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Stream processing, backend development, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, security, testing, and API testing tools.
